Start Your New Year with Something Yummy

I know everyone is ready preparing their food for New Year's Eve! For those who doesn't want to add weight, here is my suggested recipe and you can add these to your menu.





Mixed Salad with Shrimp Salad

Ingredients:
Apples
Crab
Tomatoes
Bell pepper
Cooked broccoli
Cauliflower
Potatoes
Mangoes
Orange
Pear
Cucumber
Green lettuce
Boiled eggs
Cheese
Nuts



Tuna Spring Roll


Ingredients:
Orange dressing
1 cup orange juice
Freshly squeezed
4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
 4 tbsp honey mustard
2 tbsp honey
½ cup fat free plain yogurt
Pinch of salt and grounded pepper
Olive oil

Procedure:
In a small bowl, stir together all ingredients.  

Tuna spring rolls
1 Can tuna
2 pcs bell pepper sliced thinly
1 piece carrot
1 pc grated onion, cut into small cubes
 3 gloves garlic

Heat some sunflower oil or canola in a non stick pan Saute the chopped onion until brown add the garlic and then the carrots and the bell pepper and fresh onions chopped then season with black pepper and a bit salt.

Place in a bowl and let it cool. Prepare the lumpia wrapper. Use one sheet of spring roll and place in your work surface. Spread around 30 ml or tbsp of filling in the middle. Fold over the sides and roll up. 
Fries spring roll in hot sunflower oil for four minutes until golden brown. Dry on kitchen paper


Put all ingredients together and wrap according to your desired  size.
